Since achieving an Award in 2021, the Master Innholders has continued to invest in its Aspiring Leaders Programme which develops junior managers in the hospitality sector. With the strategic need more intense than ever in a sector that is dealing with a depleted labour market, reducing margins, and operational pressure, this continued investment in training is leading to positive retention and development in the industry. Notably, 92% of learners from the past three cohorts still working within the sector.

The Master Innholders created an Aspiring Leaders Programme which develops staff in the hospitality sector from across the UK. The programme, which has kept learners engaged during a challenging time for the sector, provides strong online support and an ILM level 3 qualification. Before the pandemic trainees visited other hotels to learn from what they had to offer and 92% learners from the past three cohorts are still working in the sector.

This non-profit organisation established an Aspiring Leaders Diploma to develop high performers across the British Hospitality industry. Of the 98 trained participants to-date, 90% are still in the industry and over 60% have been promoted. This is no mean feat in an industry renowned for its high staff turnover.
