In the press: Home care company awarded for its end of life care

A HOME care company is celebrating after winning an award for the essential end of life training it provides to caregivers.

Home Instead Senior Care, whose national office is based in Stretton, picked up the award at a prestigious ceremony in London as part of the Princess Royal Training Awards.

The company is one of only 44 organisations to receive the accolade.

The award was collected by CEO Martin Jones, head of people, Karen Dakin, and learning and development partner, Tim Howell.

Home Instead’s 9,000 caregivers across the UK took part in the training to learn the skills needed to deliver the very best quality care enable them to cope with the practical and emotional demands of caring for someone at the end of their life.

A decade of excellence and a room full of inspiration – Princess Royal Training Awards Skills Share 2025
