This leading financial services group launched the Elevate programme in January 2021 to support and accelerate career progression for women in tech, data and security roles. The programme is delivered annually and to-date over 500 tech professionals have completed it. 28.7% have since been promoted and the programme is seen as a catalyst for boosting confidence and breaking down barriers across the group.

Amongst those who have completed BE training, in addition to greater engagement, there has been an uplift of 19% in their People Focus, 10% in their strategic approach and 23% in their ability to multi-task.

Following a year of research, transformational culture change programme Your Best was introduced. To date more than 65,000 have participated in the programme out of a workforce of approximately 70,000, the programme has been transformational and the business feels better equipped to achieve its long-term strategy.

LAMA – Providing structured learning for aspiring leaders

The UK’s largest retail bank created the Leadership and Management Accelerator to provide a structured learning solution for aspiring leaders. The programme has resulted in high levels of engagement with ample evidence of successful application of learning in the workplace. Over 7000 staff have accessed at least one module of the programme and many have accessed over twenty modules.

Developing personal resilience

Against a backdrop of political and economic instability, this bank recognised the need to develop the resilience of its leaders who in turn could develop the resilience of their teams. The Resilient Leader one-day training programme was launched focusing on a top-down approach and over 5000 employees have been trained. Evaluation has shown a 32% increase in personal resilience levels following the training.

This banking organisation is offering exceptional training and development opportunities for leaders whilst facing challenging circumstances including large-scale staff redundancies. Over 7,000 leaders have been trained and have joined a 30-day development challenge across the last two years and staff motivation and productivity is high.
