Using Apprenticeships to meet strategic priorities

Theme: Apprenticeships

The Royal Navy is invested heavily in its Apprenticeship programme as a way of balancing key strategic priorities whilst meeting the needs of its complex set of stakeholders. 10-12% of the workforce is undertaking an Apprenticeship at any one time and there has been a significant focus on joining up operations to form a more coherent structure. In 2018 the programme was rated as ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED.
