Princess Royal Training Awards Alumni logo

Applying for a Princess Royal Training Award will provide you with the opportunity to reflect on what you have achieved through your investment in training. We provide one-to-one support through the application process and all applicants receive detailed and tailored written feedback on their application, which has been described as ‘free consultancy’.

Achieving this prestigious Award allows you to be externally recognised for your achievements and sets you apart from your competitors. Recipients of the Award are invited to display the award logo on their websites, business and recruitment communications and products, bringing industry-wide recognition. You will also join the community of excellence providing access to a network of over 150 Award holders who, like you, believe in the huge value of training and development.

Our alumni include John Lewis & Partners, IBM, Dermalogica, The Coop, RBS, GSK. All trusted the standard of excellence that the Awards set out.

The application process

The first stage of the application process is to complete and submit an application form. We use three Hallmarks of Excellence as the criteria to evaluate applications. This ensures that all applications are assessed against the same rigorous standard. The application form and the supporting notes provide clear guidance on what the assessors are looking for.

If your application meets the criteria we will visit your organisation to hear more about your achievements, or you will receive a detailed feedback report. The Princess Royal Training Awards Commission will make the final decision about which organisations meet the Award’s standard of excellence.

Virtual support workshops

This year we are holding virtual workshops to offer practical help and support to anyone thinking about applying for a Princess Royal Training Award.

Attendees have the opportunity to find out more information about the Awards, go though the application process in detail and hear from an Assessor about what they are looking for and why applications are successful. Workshops also include the chance to hear from a previous recipient about their experience and tips on applying and the chance to ask lots of questions.

Sign up for a free virtual workshop below.

The workshop was really helpful in clarifying any questions, unpicking the application form and providing some useful tips!

Literally essential to attend a workshop before considering an application!
