Help and support
We are here to support you at every stage of the application process. We offer virtual workshops, telephone support, webchat and even the opportunity to submit an early draft of your application for feedback.
Please return to this page as we are adding sessions often throughout the year.
Workshops
We hold virtual Workshops to offer practical help and support to anyone thinking about applying for a Princess Royal Training Award.
Attendees have the opportunity to find out more information about the Awards, go though the application process in detail and hear from an Assessor about what they are looking for and why applications are successful. Workshops also include the chance to hear from a previous recipient about their experience and tips on applying and the chance to ask lots of questions.
We will add workshops to this page as we book them in.
The workshop was really helpful in clarifying any questions, unpicking the application form and providing some useful tips!
What an inclusive way to encourage applications and support the applicants. Thank you!
Literally essential to attend a workshop before considering an application!
Tea & Chat Sessions
We also offer anyone interested the chance to join us for an informal 30 minute chat to find out more about the Awards. Bring your brew and any questions you may have, or just listen to us chatting about the application process and covering some of the things we often get asked. We are holding these sessions twice a month from January and no question is a silly question! Register once and feel free to come to as many sessions as you like.
We are also offering an additional Tea and Chat session specifically for previous recipients who received the Award three or more years ago and want to renew their recognition.
Webchat and email support
If you have a question, we offer a webchat service for quick questions during office hours. Just look out for the chat icon on the bottom-right corner of every page.
Alternatively you can reach us via email at: info@princessroyaltrainingawards.com.
No question is a silly question and we will respond as quickly as we can.
Submit a draft
We are offering applicants the chance to submit a draft version of their application for some initial feedback from Assessors.
If you draft responses to the questions in the three Hallmark sections by the end of January or February, an Assessor will respond with some initial feedback.
You can then take on board the feedback before submitting your final application by the end of March when the applications close.
The Submission Process
The submission process for the Princess Royal Training Awards consists of a written application and a validation visit from an Assessor.
